Ideal to start learning a new language

While I would have preferred Hiragana it's still a good reference book to have to hand as a beginner student who has yet to master converting dictionary / impolite forms to the polite masu/desu forms.I can't say how useful this might be to a more advanced student as at the time of purchase I'm only 6 weeks into my studies. It doesn't cost a lot though so I feel it's a good reference book to have around even for "just in-case" scenarios.

What the title doesn't tell you is that only 306 verbs are actually dealt with in full. The remaining ones are just a long list of suru verbs. Furthermore, what is the point in providing all those conjugations for every verb when there are only two irregular verbs in the language. The example sentences are the best part of this book. The rest is just wasted space. This book would be much more useful if it had 600 non-suru verbs and filled the space with examples. Disappointed.
